Join us once again for a thrilling weekend of top-class eventing in the heart of the West Country.
Set against the stunning backdrop of the Cornish countryside, just a stones throw from the Devon/Cornwall border, the Launceston Horse Trials returns on 21st and 22nd June 2025, offering an exciting showcase of grassroots to intermediate-level competition.

Riders from across the UK will take on our beautifully presented cross-country course, challenging showjumping arena, and technical dressage tests—a true test of horse and rider partnership.

The Launceston Horse Trials is a much-loved fixture on the British Eventing (BE) calendar, attracting riders from across Cornwall, Devon, the South West—and beyond. Known for its friendly atmosphere and smooth organisation, Launceston provides the perfect setting for a grassroots one-day event, welcoming both seasoned competitors and those stepping up to BE80, BE90, or BE100 level. We will also be running a Novice section and all info can be found on the BE website by clicking the link below.

The cross-country course is continually developed with fences built by the renowned Willis Bros, whose prestigious portfolio includes Badminton, Gatcombe, and international competitions across the UK and Europe. The Showjumping course is designed by Clive Phillips.
